I think you may be jumping to some BIIIIG conclusions here.
I don't know, but who selects the MVP? Seldom JUST the senior coach.
AND, what's the criteria for the MVP? I'm sure different people would put a VERY different perspective on it's meaning. A coach? A fan in the stands? A team mate? Bottom line is Sam won it because the majority of the people judging the title thought she was IT.
And hasn't Sam had a SENSATIONAL season!!!???!!! Who would begrudge her the accolade? Not me for one - and I'm sure not many others.
