we're supposed to be a sporting nation .. but the ONLY sports the media wants us to follow here are local sports like cricket and football .... any other competition and they want to bring it down !!..there's nothing qrong with following local sports but they should give us a choice NOT shove it down our throats. We're miles behind other countries when it comes to international sports.. hellin the Philippines .. they have at least 1 NBA per day !!! even China has it's own NBA dedicated TV ... what is. heck even non basketball Asian stations through Star Sports get more NBA !!! what is it with AUS ?? is it their policy to get threatened by international competition that they shut it down like they did to bball after the height of it's popularity in the early 90s ?? I DON"T understand .... and we pay a premium for cable here and we still get no real selection !!

College and Euro coverage on ESPN this year has been great. NBA coverage has been very POOR.

Foxtel was only really saved due to Fox Sports picking up some NBA games which made the regular season pretty handy with Fox Sports & ESPN giving us games. Now the playoffs are here and we are getting screwed over - nothing from Fox Sports (pesumably dont want to fork out the $$) and ESPN isnt even showing us everything they have rights too!

well . the kind of rubbish i get from them is that ESPN has exclusive rights to the NBA Playoffs in this region .. frankly that's a big cop off and i told them so .. cause they can pick up games from TNT or CBS or whereever but too cheap to do so .. anyway even if ESPN has the rights .. they still don't show all the games they have rights to !!! sick and tired of it .. and you know what i don't get anymore response from Foxtel .. cause they know how cheap they are

absolutely.....I was watching the Suns Lakers game where Kobe made 45 and from then to today I think there was only the one live game with the Spurs......what a joke.........with all the crap on Foxtel sports channels soccer this soccer that.........
