Sixers Vs Razorbacks (Possible Spoilers)
DDFan. I don't think I was drowning him in negatives, I voluntarily admitted that I may be wrong and would eat humble pie if he continued his good form. I also said it was encouraging to see him have the ability to play well. We are currently 9th on the ladder and have been down lower. If everyone had played to their full potential, we would be in a much better position right now. Before the season started, there was a general consensus amongst posters on this forum that they predicted the 36ers to finish 4 or 5th. You talk about his confidence, I don't know when he lost his confidence because he hadn't been playing well at all this season. There were no negative posts early on to give him a complex about his performance. The fact of the matter is that what he did last night should have been evident a lot sooner. I can praise him non stop for last night's performance, but you can't get back what you've lost until now. Home losses like the ones to Townsville and the Gold Coast were disturbing. You can't reverse those. Chappell was not the only poor performer on the team.

Quote EC: "If Dench continues like this for the rest of the season, I am prepared to eat humble pie after making comments like "for all he does, he may as well not show up"."
Ah, what's a few kilos here or there, eat as much as you like.
Quote EC: "However, it takes more than just one sunny day to make a summer. He needs to lift for the rest of the season to give back any credibility to his position on the team. It was encouraging to see that he has the ability to play like he did last night but its also annoying to see that he hadn't done it before now."
How about we acknowledge the positives & give him some rousing applause when he's announced next home game? When someone's down on confidence, support & encouragement would be more productive, than drowning the guy in negatives.

Shanahan hits the floor alongside Cortez. Good way to keep Cortez outta the game Shaney. Idiot.
Yeh, couldn't agree more Mutley. ; )

Mutley, just checked the Dragons v Cats box-score, & it appears Brad didn't make the trip. : (
Shanahan did. WTF.

Ballinger Fan: "Cant tell what defence 36ers played, but suspect Maher has gotten another scalp in Hinson who got no boards and only 3 field goals. Or maybe Davidson did the deed...."
Yeah nice work whoever did it. At one point Hinson was on 9 & Muzzy had 5. Massive turnaround.

It's a shame we couldn't see this game. The boys must've played like they do at practice.
I love the 3 bigs in the starting line-up, Balls's got some relief, Motts doesn't have the foul burden hanging over him, & Scoop's relishing the extention of his role.
It'll be nice settling Hodgey into the line-up with a win under our belt too.
All coming good at the right time.

OK, don't know what's behind that then, unless he got injured in today's practice session.

Speaking of Sutts, I couldn't follow the whole game, but notice a straight line of 0s against his name on the box-scores.
DNPCD?

good win by the boys tonight, hopefully we can win next sat against the South Dragons with Hodge having an impact

final score is 122-100

6 Players in double figures & Scoop's on court to make it 7.
Nice spread of scoring & court-time.

Balls having a blinder along with 3 others approaching double figures already.
Axe doing nicely resting Scoop & Motts.
Muzzies warming up the score-board.
It's on.

Axe 100% (1st Q) from the arc for 6 points, 3 boards, 2 assisits, a steal & block. 3 T/Os, but good effort.
