Sydney's Behaviour
I'm with Harvard 1500, I'm no fan of Goorj's either.
Last night with less than 1 minute played in the game, scores locked at 4 apiece, Goorj calls a time-out. WTF.
Brian, you were out-coached, out-played, & your team lost. Sheesh, & it was against this year's 36ers. I'm happy.

Skud, I was thinking along the same lines as you. The Kings would not be getting away with that behaviour from their coach if the coach himself didn't train them that way. The loss to the Kings last night did not matter much as far as position on the ladder goes, but what really ruffled their feathers was the reality that last night's officiating threatens the rest of the season. If they make the grand finals, they may have to play respectfully and to the rules. This could cost them the championship because they rely too much on the rough and larikkinish methods they adopt. If Aladdin appeared right now and granted me a wish. I would wish for last night's refs to officiate the grand final series.

Hinder is the biggest knob ever in the NBL. LOve to see Jawai dunk it right on Hinder in Playoffs or boomers camp to show Goojian how SHIT hinder is!

Have to agree with the comments about Worthington, I have been to many games when teams have played the Kings over the past few years and his behaviour has not improved since the U20's. He never misses a chance to elbow anyone who comes near, mouth off at opposition players and the refs and fall at the drop of a hat. He certainly acts like a spoilt brat.

"Anyone know why Smith got his tech as he was walking away from the ref? Didn't think he'd be the type to swear, but might've been the case?"
He had a long discussion with Mills then as he turned toward the bench, mouthed a few expletives. He turned directly toward me as he said them. Thats when Mills decided to T him up.

Here we go! The Kings created a lot of stupid opportunities for the 36ers because of their thuggish behaviour on court. No questions asked about Gorjian's ability as a coach, but the Kings were starting to make a good comeback early in the 4th quarter. If they stuck to the rules and played good basketball instead of thugs, they were on track to win it. The 36ers game alone did not win it for them, the King's behaviour helped them.

You don't necessarily have to swear to pick up a tech. Could have just pushed the ref's buttons with a comment in regards to the way he was calling the game.

Sydney seem to try to bend the rules in their favour as much as possible...and react badly when they are actually called on it as they were last night.
I mean come on, if the ref's whistle goes it's expected you get back on court, not use the opportunity for an impromptu time out.
