where do all the Refs go???

You will find a lot of the younger ones do Sat mornings too but the Panel refs and SRDP's, who ref Seniors during the week, have the day off so that the newer Level 0 and 1 refs start their training process. Most stadiums pair up a "senior" ref with the newies so they have someone to learn from. This hopefully ensures more are coming thru and they progress to Thursday nights and eventually Friday nights as they move up. Its a good system and with support is surely a step forward. Now if only we could get the coaches and parents not to whinge so much and abuse...............!
