Is Sutton another J. Williams ??

Correct me if I'm wrong but the minutes you get in a game is determined by how you train through the week. Could it be that playing with fear extended to how he trained? Surely a player who is not training well would not be given considerable minutes. There is a lot of pressure to win games at NBL level, you can't afford the luxury of extended playing time to a player who is not proving himself in training. Even if it is for the purpose of improving himself as an individual player.

Not NBL material.

That's what I'm saying Isaac, overall, his mark is currently an "E", but when you look at the trashy minutes he got, and adjust it accordingly, he is probably a "B-" to a "B+" under a coach who gives him some reasonable time and who builds up his self-esteem to get the best out of him.

Another way to look at Sutts is:
Points per minute: 0.24 (Team = 0.43); Best was Hodge at 0.69 Worst Sutts. Score: 1/10
Fouls per minute: 0.11 (0.10) OK -> 5/10
Assists per min: 0.08 (0.08) Best was Hodge @ 0.16 Score: 2/10 (Guards should be higher than ave.)
Turnovers per min: 0.06 (0.06) Worst was Hodge! Score 5/10
FG % 39% (45%) Best was Ballinger 54% (coincidence?) Score 4/10
3p% 41% (36%) Score 7/10
Free Throws % 82% (71%) Score 7/10

Overall 31/70 = 44% Final Grade under Headmaster Phil, "E" (fail).

Grade under Headmaster Ninnis ??

Sutts' biggest problem is the lack of game time. Last season, he was always thrown on at the wrong time of the game which meant that he played under tooo much pressure and when he made a mistake, he knew the knives would be out for him and he would be benched for the rest of the game.
He is a reasonable 3 point shooter. The sixers have less 3pa than average and it is the 3 pointers that get a lot of teams across the line.
However, if you watched his body languange when he played, you could tell that if he dared make an error there would be a rocket up the.... As a consequence, he didn't take a risk last season and didn't grow as a player.
When a player plays with fear in his heart, you would always see poor performance. Voldy was not a coach for development and as such Sutts did poorly. Put him under a coach who encourages the best from his players and you'll see Sutts lift!
