It's true that Maher would be respected regardless of his decision because of how much he has given to this club. It's because of this loyalty and many years of excellent service that makes it all the more difficult to see him go.

Brad Hill could potentially be the next Newley? He's the new go-to man at the AIS, is only 18, and will graduate next year. Has a similar game to Newley, offensively explosive and amazing, a huge swingman, defensively lacking, but will be THAT much more effective than Gower/Hambour/Snake at NBL Level.
