2 Aussies join Trent Fildes in Montana
Miles Community College is a JuCo or Junior College. The main differences between a JuCo and a NCAA college is that the JuCos last only for 2 years, where the NCAA institutions are 4 years. The same subjects are studied in the first two years in the American system, and JuCos have lower academic entry standards. You can transfer from a JuCo without having to stay out for a year (red shirt), once you have met the graduation standards of the college and are progressing towards a 4 year degree, something I suggest will happen to Trent.
MCC is a Division 1 NJCAA school and plays in one of the mid range conferences (Region IX). Trent was the second leading scorer there last year, with Greg Hire from WA their leading scorer and rebounder. Greg is being looked at by a number of D1 and D2 schools, and should decide in the next week or two.
