I agree with highlighting some way of seeing what has been posted since last visit, saves us having to troll through every thread that may interest us.
Afl saying it’s costing them three million a week, there are 18 teams with squads of around 45 with players, coaches, doctors, physios etc.
Nbl teams would be 9 teams with squads of 15 with coaches, players, doctor and physio. I would not think the basketball players would cost more than afl players, if anything less.
Working on the above if anywhere near correct, a hub for the basketball would cost about $500,000 a week. It’s not happening unless it’s for a very short time or they could find a country area hub where costs would be a lot less.
The afl do exaggerate a lot so it could also be less.
