100 Days until Sixers tip off.
Things I'm looking forward to:
* First season as a player sponsor and a closer involvement with the club and players.
* Getting back to the Dome for another season and cheering on the home team.
Things I'm hoping for:
* A good final season for Brett Maher.
* A good first season for Scott Ninnis.
* Strong performances from new recruits, including Kersten, Winitana and Schenscher.
* Another strong year for Ballinger
* 36ers being able to sign a credible import, eg Hodge.
Things I'm not too sure on:
* Brad Hill's return - will he be ready?
* Legitimacy of Winitana in the NBL.
* Whether we'll be able to take it to the Dragons and Tigers.
Other things playing on my mind:
* Whether there will be a league.
* Impact of possible sale of Dome and 36ers.

Damn, I was hoping that would still be on the cards...oh well, new sound system is better than nothing.
Isaac, anyone in the know, are the Sixers being sold at the moment, or the dome?

Here's one thing to look forward to:
ACTUALLY MAKING THE FINALS WITH NO SHADOW OF DOUBT
Sub-"looking forward to's" includes:
-> Bollocking Shane Heal for wearing the somewhat queer color scheme of the Blaze; and the fact he's still a tool.
-> Hodge and Ballinger finishing 1/2 respectively in League MVP honors.
-> Maher to be on the receiving end of an alleyoop from Davidson in his final game (finally).
-> Coops to "accidentally" slap Mark Worthington in the face when going for a block, followed by a "I thought his face was the ball" remark to the refs afterwards.
-> Me, drinking FUIC to a Sixers winning streak.
and finally, the dream "what I wish would happen this season" request is:
The 2008 Sixers conquering the 86' invincibles winning streak AND winning the title.

Can't believe were counting down already. We just need to finalise the last import position and we'll be cooking with gas.
Things I have missed in the off season and we may not see again:
* The reflection of stadium lights going into the crowd off the "chrome dome"
* Axel Dench sitting on the bench yelling "Come on Blue"
* Matt Sutton's "Movember" effort
Things to look forward to:
* Schench dumping and making it look easy
* Coops rejecting Paul Rogers
* Jacob recording ten double-doubles in a row
* Julius recording ten triple-doubles in a row
* David Bradison playing like a maniac
* Mahersy sinking a swishy 3 from way downtown on the siren in the decider in the GF against South Dragons to win by a single point! (in his last game)
Did I miss anything?

"Will it be Murray or Murry?"
Nice one Bluey - a little "a" makes all the difference to Murray.

Brett Maher should finish the year as he should start it....as a starter. He will still average 15 - 18 ppg.
Why does there seem to be a forgone conclusion that he will be off the bench?
If he is fit, start him!
