At the request of the president of the South Adelaide Basketball Club, I have removed the "SOUTH ADELAIDE" thread in its entirety from this forum (fact). The request included posts that I believe were harmless, uncritical and in good spirit along with those that could fairly be considered criticism of the club (personal opinion).

I expressed a preference for the removal or editing of only the latter form of posts (fact), but was assured that further action would be considered or enacted should the messages from August 18 - September 2 within that thread (the beginning) onwards not be removed from the forum.

Any messages counting towards your forum contribution (reply leaderboard, etc) have subsequently been deleted.

I would like to express my personal dissatisfaction with this request and believe that it serves as nothing but negative PR for the club in question (personal opinion). I believe that it would have been a far more reasonable action to request the editing or removable of only those posts that could be considered criticism at the very least (personal opinion).

To those clubs or individuals representing clubs (explicitly or anonymously) who have responded to public criticism in what I would call a reasonable manner, I thank you for your ongoing involvement.

To everyone: there are now terms of use for people reading or posting to this forum. If you have a problem with a post, please email me with your reasons and the topic/reply number of the comment. I want people to be able to post their opinion (including valid criticism!) on this site, but if you post offensive or knowingly false information about an individual, I will remove it where appropriate.
