Jawai playing LIVE now

Jawai was the best big player in this game IMO. He started slowly and was obviously nervous. By the end of the game he was demanding the ball in the post and made some nice moves inside.
He defended well on the perimeter as well which has previously been identified as a weakness.
He missed far too many free throws, and should have dunked two shots he missedin the first half and went for soft layups instead.
I could only see positives in how he improved the longer the game went.

Reading the South post gave me an idea for an interesting discussion.

I would like to see what people think their individual clubs stand for.

Individuallity, different approaches and philosophies should be encouraged at clubs.

Each club as its own culture which makes the basketball landscape competitive, interesing and exciting and people love to get behind something they have ownership in, that is not a carbon copy of another club.

You may want to consider one or more of these questions.

What stage is your club at? IE trying to maintain success, going to a new level of success
How does your club define success?
Does your club stand for hard nosed defense?
Motion offense vs structured offense?
Opportunities for all, opportunities for elite?
Lots of smart zone defenses?
Promoting coaches within?
Rewarding athletes before smart players?
Promotion to senior ranks from within?
etc.

It can include history, plan for the future, coaching/playing philosophies, management philosophies etc. etc.

What makes your club stand out from the rest?

Obviously most posts will be unofficial and can be annonymous if you wish as people should not be constricted from posting their opinion. So, there are no right or wrong answers just peoples opinions.

BUT KEEP IT POSSITIVE AND ETHICAL!
