NBL schedule released, tips-off Sep 13
With only 10 teams in the league, each team visits each other so often that even away games will start to feel like home games for the players. I am thrilled that we don't have a home game on the 13th December as the previous schedule showed it to be an away game and I agreed to a Xmas function on that night. Then I started to regret it in case the new schedule showed us having a home game on that night.

"Schedule may be subject to change." I chuckled at that!

I am a bit "Jack Toft" with that too. We play our first and last game away. The four other teams who play away first, also play away last game (Melb., Towns., Woll., and South). New Zealand start home and finish away, but the NBL gods obviously like Perth, Sydney, Cairns and Gold Coast - all have the priv. of starting with and finishing with a home game.
Personally, I always like to finish with a home game as in a close one the crowd gets the team over the line.
Don't like games 4 to 7 (4 on the road). Last season, that was our undoing - Brad injured in Perth, wheels fell off without Brett...chooks went off their lay. We have four home games in a row though....
