Silly question, off course the championship is what everyone strives for. If you have played that well during the regular season to be on top of the ladder, you haven't completed the job you set out to do if the championship doesn't follow. One could argue if you are the best in the league and on top of the ladder, you should be the best on the grand final game. However you do see it that teams throughout the season do not put in the performance that they do towards the end and that can be annoying as well for the ones that have strived all season (Panthers). Sorry couldn't resist that one. Not to say they have already won the championship but are still on track for it.
