Sydney Kings to be Resurrected

Perhaps the venue was too expensive for them. Also parking costs a fortune in Sydney CBD. A change of venue may have brought a bit more success. They should address this if any plans are made to bring back the Kings.

Sydney Basketball is ruined this season, because of:

-A gay name like Spirit. WTF?
-Lack of ability in the team. Poor roster if you ask me. Great job to snare an import like LOW, who was an NBA prospect, but what bout the others. One import doesn't make a team.
-Poor crowd support due to poor advertising of the team. Nobody want's to go watch the Spirit play. They would think they were going to watch tidliwinks(sp.?)

For all those reasons above the Sydney Spirit should be cut. And no team shall ever exist in Sydney again. They tried an inner city team, the KINGS, who got no attention and limited crowd levels. Then, they tried it out west, The RAZORBACKS, and that failed like you wouldnt believe. The Razorbacks werent winning and were getting crowds of 1500 to their games on a good night.
SYDNEY DOESN'T DESERVE A TEAM. THEY HAD THEIR CHANCES AND SCREWED UP BIGTIME.

Brisbane I agree with - bring them back as it was strong in the local Brisbane market as well as nationally.
I would argue that the Kings brand is better known outside of Sydney that it is within it. In any case it is out of my hands.

There's a chance that the Melbourne Tigers could force the 36ERS down to fifth if results don't fall our way.

If they lose tonight, they can't force a tie with us on 19-13 (if we lose to Cairns).

Track their progress against the Wildcats.

Currently Perth are leading 41-47.
