Any Crows-36ers alliance is unlikely, I would think ?

Got to love how one person says a negative comment, and it degenerates into a Port Adelaide v crows slanging match..Nice work..

Im not a crows fan, but they are hardley bottom shelf losers,im pretty sure they made the finals this year. Also they have a massive membership base and plenty of $$$ and top class resources and facilities, i think its a great aliance for the 36ers, and the crows also if they wanted to could probably afford to drop $1-2M per year into the 36ers and take some level of ownership, and offer joint memberships, etc and become Adelaides major sporting cluib, a bit liek how alot of European clubs have both a soccer and basketball club.

Is the Crows/36ers partnership sort of a way of the crows sort of owning the 36ers?? Or is it just going to be things like cross promotions and sharing of resources?? which either way would be good and even if its just through cross promotions should help the 36ers save some marketing money and gain a bit of extra exposure through the crows!

I don't think its a case of people turning their backs on the 36ers because they are haven't been doing well in recent years. I think its more the case that it is boring watching them consistently lose and not make playoffs. Off course there is a lot more excitement when they are doing well and winning, because its a lot more enjoyable to watch. Its the entertainment value that determines whether you go to a game for many people. The last few years has been poor entertainment value.
