Hodge a Sixer? Rumoured
That was Phil Smyth on radio.. Julius is here, today, and may play tomorrow.

Comment from Scott, that he hopes to be able to sign a replacement in about a week..
Yuk.

Just think of the extra cornetto sales at the kiosk for those extra 1,300!
If they actually sold those yummy treats.......

Best news I've heard bout the Sixers in a while if they have indeed secured Hodge, which it appears they have. This will definitely bring me and a fair few of my mates to the Dome, Hodge is just in a class above the NBL, and I have no doubt that he will get the Sixers back into the playoffs.
The Dome needs to be a fortress, and with the signing of Hodge results in more bums on seats at the Dome cheering on the Sixers. Get the crowd going, and the Dome is the loudest crowd in basketball. Will be very excited to see Hodge back in a Sixers jersey, can't wait.

' 7 news UNDERSTANDS he's on his way back '
Radio ' BELIEVES an agreement has been reached'

Those of you on this forum who know me will know that I have a few connections within the team through various interests.
I sent a message earlier this afternoon to one of my contacts (who will remain nameless) that read:
"Heard anything about who they're getting to replace Tyndale? According to his agent, Hodge is on his way back here - if you believe the Internet."
This was the reply I received:
"I'm not allowed 2 say directly but I'd believe the internet..."
Looks like it's a done deal. :)

Radio news said.. 'sixers were confident of getting Hodge'

That's better then, Kent. I just thought when Isaac changed it from confirmed to Rumour, that sixers didn't know anything about it.

Aw.. looks like rumour...not confirmed

Agreed Dana, his last 2 years were average, but let's not forget what the bloke did for basketball..

Shirley, don't be such a pathetic, & uninformed sook.
Bring yourself up to speed & take a slow read of post #211844. Look for the words, Phil Smyth. ; )

Does anyone want to call Boti and get him to confirm it?
I'd rather see this in the paper before taking it to heart.

Dana, love your work.
In my simple world, I'd be rapt, if we could catch up, along with (another, team first) Bake.
EC, even though I'm considered an outcast here, & you're (by our smooth talking brothers) a "dickhead" ; ), let's recall the good times. Not holding my breath that you'd remember, but we met on a 1/3 filled ($95, game inclusive) bus, trip to an elimination final in Melbourne.

Woooooooooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
I am 1 happy tool. : ) : ) : )
This is bigger than world peace.
Woooooooooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
Huge raps for front office & new owners for pulling this one off.
