Hodge may suit tomorrow
All's forgiven KingJames, someone called for Steve to help Scottie out, so don't beat yourself up. ; )

Hang on, Flynn was targetted as a villain here a while back. Good move to keep him on. ; )

Great to be able to get him. Just what we need.
( Phil was interesting, that Hodge told the players, yesterday, he was on his way.)

Channel 9 has also confirmed it!

Confirmed ch7 and ch9.. arrives Monday.

Reckon he's the ideal fit,for this group.
I'll take it that he'll be here Monday, then as per 212157.

Always interesting listening to Boti, of course.
But, I'm still a little confused about Hodge.

Here is the Article from Hoopshype.com It was written on Novemeber 15th Australian time at 3:30 AM AEST
"November 13, 2008 @ 11:36 am · Filed under Australia, Julius Hodge, Uncategorized
HoopsHype.com blogger Julius Hodge is heading back to Australia after failing to get a roster spot with the New Jersey Nets in training camp, agent Cervando Tejeda told HoopsHype.com.
Hodge is returning to the Adelaide 36ers of the NBL, where he averaged 24.6 ppg, 9.1 rpg and 5.9 apg last season. The team features former NBA player Luke Schenscher."
Not sure how accurate this website is but interesting none the less!

Phil is regular host 1pm-5pm Sat. He's just finished .
So probably won't hear anymore.
Maybe TV news might have something.
( hopefully from the airport)

No mention of Hodge, at all. Mostly 'Mahervellous' etc

4.30pm radio fiveaa Boti and Phil
( maybe there's 2 imports on a plane )

Boti might clear it up.. talking to Phil on fivea, in a minute

The advertiser says no... Phil just said on radio yes

That might make more sense , then. Phil would have read the paper, that says Scott doesn't know anything about Hodge signing and was looking at those other 2 players, who are ready to come, and Hodge had to tell him in 24 hours. But, Phil still did say that Hodge was here, today... Maybe he's leaving today.

Phil said on radio, that Hodge had spoken to some of the players and told them he would be here on saturday

A flight up to the gold coast.. still, we're without Paora and maybe Holmes (flu) and Tyndale, for a sun afternoon game.
( Boti and Scott didn't know anything about it..I just got the paper)

Yes, I got this from Phil on radio, just then.
Said he's in ADL today.

The Mavericks last night built a first quarter lead and then held on, winning every quarter on route to a 114-89 win at home.
It was an all-round performance from the underdogs, Becis with 23 and 5 assists, Davis with 22, 7 and 5, and Bungy with 19.
Dix came good for the Eagles for the second game straight, knocking in 31 and adding 8 rebounds and 9 assists for a likely POTW performance. The much anticipated arrival of Newley was less successful, as he shot 6 of 25 for 17 points and 9 rebounds, but 7 turnovers.
The result is likely to hurt a lot of tipsters!
