36ers crowd could be even louder
"And in my mind someone who needs to resort to crudeness to get a laugh is either lazy or not very funny in the first place."
Well anon, that is your opinion.
Get a sense of humour, I am a parent, and I know that kids hear MUCH worse in the school yard...
Be a bit more open minded, it is not the 60's!

My favourite was still when the Bullets came to town last year and Bruton lobbed a full court pass and it went straight out of court.
One of the guys behind me yelled out "You can't pass to your Ego CJ!"
Or as I developed at the last Dragons game: "Wortho Originals". Just need a giant carboard cutout of a Werther's Original bag and then a giant blowup of Wortho crying at last years grand final loss to Melbourne stuck on the front.
Everytime he throws an Elbow or gets a call; you wave the bag at him.

I am not so sure about chants insulting the refs is a good idea. They may retaliate by taking it out on the home team and calling every soft foul whilst ignoring more blatant ones from the opposition. Oh, hang on, they do that anyway.

Thinking music from Jeopardy sounds good for thinking music.
Also the old British chase music, I think it is on the Simpsons, in one of the episodes when the movement is just photos every couple seconds.

Yeah Skip's doing a good job with the music. It fits the game rather than being overbearing as it was a couple of seasons ago.
As a sample for an opposition play, how about using those 2 old guys from the Muppets? i.e. "I didn't like it...that was terrible! boo!"
On that note, are there any guidelines as to how often you're allowed to play sounds that mock the opposing team?
Also, I agree with Nino. We need people to just really get stuck into the opposing players if they deserve it. Coarse language obviously isn't necessary, as everyone's there to enjoy the game, but the worse you can make the opposition feel, the better. At one point I yelled at Saville "That was worst than your Olympic performance", but I was a lone voice =(

"I remember when the Powerhouse used to be referred to as a 'zoo.' Now its just so very, very polite."
Considering the amount of old people and children, it's not surprising. People turn around and look if I shout anything at the opposition, even though I don't use offensive language.
