NBL Top 6 - The Final Week

Its highly unlikely that we will move further up than 6th. The only reasonable changes could come from Townsville and NZ switching the 3rd and 4th position. Being in 6th, it will be either of these 2 teams that we will come against. I wouldn't want to say which one will be easier. Perth have one game left against the Tigers in Melbourne. Its not likely that they will win this one however they have the split on us. NZ have 2 games left, 1 against Taipans at home and one against Spirit on the road. Its likely they will win both of those and therefore Adelaide will not be a threat. That just leaves us with Perth to tie but they get the split. My guess is that after this week there will be no change to the ladder or a slight change only with NZ and Townsville.

After Maher's game last night possibly being the last home game, he had a brilliant one. Heal did the same thing with his retirement looming. Perhaps the key to winning the instant elimination playoff game is for everyone to pretend that its their last game.

How will they factor in a three way split where some teams play each other 4 times and others 3.... It has the potential to get real messy.

It aint gonna happen anyway. Sixers will finish 6th and well be off to Townsville or NZ - which would you prefer?
