Eastern Mavericks under 18 Girls team has convincing defeated Sturt in the Final at the Melbourne classics. Leading by 14 at 3/4 time, Mavericks won by around 20.

Coached by SA Coaching Director Neil Gliddon, this team defied many critics to take the title, the first SA title since 1999. (Okay, technically only since 10am when Wayne Beaumont's Sturt 12 Girls won, but before that it was 1999.)

Congratulations to Neil, and the girls!!!
