From an outsiders perspective (not in SA) but was at Albury and have a daughter in the age group, I'd have to say that if any player omitted from the SA Country 18's was up to Nationals standard, they'd have been included because the results at Albury didn't project to outstanding results in Gawler for the SA Country group (the 16's however, are looking very good).

If they're not in, there's a good reason (though perhaps not for everybody)!
