In NZ, We are taught the 5 continent model for some reason..We have the saying that all the continents <strike>end</strike> start in A and finish in A..Australia, Antartica, Asia,America and Africa <cite>(Mod: I think you meant "start in A".)</cite>

Sorry Shin Splints and Isaac, didn't realise there were many ways of interpreting it.
If you look here :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continent

You can distinguish as 4,5,6 or 7 continents. Some interpretations combine Europe and Asia into one continent and another one combine the americas.

Probably need some geography help there Isaac. Europe is not a continent, and South America and North America are not 2 separate continents-'America' is one entire continent.
