I guess the reason for the site being down has been revealed...they have a new one!

The new one has quite a few "kinks" and design errors that need ironing out - and hopefully quickly as it ruins the look and feel.

Is this the first task of the newBL?
Received an email today promoting the basketball dribble attempt and all was good, great idea get the word spread and I'm pressuming this was sent to everyone on the NBL/BA mailing list database (one would imagine quite a few people) but it couldn't be done without a mistake that the fans continuously point out is the reason why they need to be more in touch with the sport (you need a mix of business heads and basketball heads).

The World Record attempt will feature members of the Australian Boomers and Opals national teams including Joe Ingles (South Dragons), Luke Schenscher (Adelaide 36ers), Cayla Francis (Adelaide 36rs), Emma Randall (Stade Clermontois - France), Abby Bishop (Canberra Capitals) and Opals head coach Carrie Graf (Canberra Capitals).

Given the number of Pauls (Rees, Rogers, Arnott, Mesecke, Bauer, Bell and more) in our wonderful basketball community, I am suggesting that we come up with alternative names for them so that we may keep track of them instead of just saying "Paul".

I am sure I am not the only one who reads "Paul" and thinks, yes, but which one!

I realise that Bauer already has one, but the others don't. We should probably try and keep it clean and non-litigious, so I'll leave Mesecke alone, but the others are up for grabs!
