On ABC TV news the story of 36ers first training , with Gilchrist wearing number 5 ( after the retirment of Brett Maher)......
Probably good that he wears that.. there was thought that they may retire no.5
Regret I didn't see Gilchrist or Hodge at their first training ( even thought I live next door to the Dome and should have wondered in, for a while).
I seem to recall that coach Ninnis was very impressed how Hodge had lifted the session dunking on Cooper and was amazed at what he could do, even though he'd just flown in from Italy via USA.
