Six changes for Boomers team for Stankovic Cup
Spot on. Clubs wanting their players. It is not players jumping froma sinking ship, even if it may appear that way.

Paul - you make a valid point. What is happening is we are building fr the future. Short term pain for hopefully some long term gain. It can't hurt that these young players are getting exposure at the senior International level.

Whatever the case, this is the Boomers team, like it or not. I hope we unearth some more finds like Dellavedova. An opportunity awaits.

OMG - Gaze sends more accomplished sides to China than this.
Eight of those guys are NBL players, but only Harvey was ever a star in the league and Schenscher is the only young guy who you could call dominant in the NBL (for all of one season).
Then we've got Ogilvy and Dellavedova who clearly have talent but are very inexperienced at senior level.
Plus Greenwood and Majok. These guys may well be very talented, but its going to be a steep learning curve for them on this trip!
I'm all for giving some young guys experience, but its disappointing that basically only three guys with a realistic shot at the 2010 WCs (Ogilvy, Dellavedova and Schenscher) are available for an international tournament against quality opponents.

Does anyone know what time the Acadmey game is tomorrow with the Sixers starting at 7.35pm?
