Yep, half way through the NBL season so lets get out the crystal balls and start placing bets.
Is Townsville's season over?
What about Bullets, still the team to oust the Kings?
We know where WSR will be, unless they break the Breakers!
Is there anything in a name... Kings are on the throne, Crocs are croaking, Hawks are circling, Bullets are blanks, Pirates are stealing some wins, the 36ers wins are all in the numbers, Breakers and RazorBACKS have broken backs? (yeah, I know the last was poor!)
However I disgaree that it isjust between the top 4 ranked teams.
USA and Spain should be favoured for sure, and teams like Greece and Argentina will be right up there, but I believe teams like Puerto Rico, Brazil, Serbia, France and even Slovenia can really make their mark. Even a team like Russia should they be given a wildcard could make a run. It is going to eb very close between some of these teams. It will be extremely tough to make the quarter finals. If Australia can get to the top 8, that would be an amazing achievement.
