Here is some news I found exciting, despite a long wait for it.

"Sega have announced today that they've struck a deal with International Sports Multimedia (the licensing arm of the IOC) to become the publisher of the Official Video Game of the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

"The good news is that Sega are really committed to making sure this is the most authentic Olympics title to date, with an unprecedented number of events represented.

"According to the press release, Sega plans to include archery, baseball, basketball, boxing, canoe/kayak, cycling, diving, equestrian, fencing, football (soccer), gymnastics, handball, field hockey, Judo, modern pentathlon, rowing, sailing, shooting, softball, swimming, table tennis, Taekwondo, tennis, triathlon, volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling and even more."
