Who am I?

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Coopz more than redeemed himself by guessing the bonus question. Grant Hill's Dukies did indeed knock Big Dog's Boilermakers out way back in 1994.

Alrighty, I gotta go out, so better end the suspense!

Coopz (after an epicly bad first guess) TC2 and LC all guessed correctly. It was indeed Big Dog. Very sharp guys!

TR - by DC if you mean Derrick Coleman, he crossed my mind too - but the fact that Bird was scouting the guy in college eliminates him.

I'm gonna go with Ray Allen (Uconn i reckon)?

or maybe Glenn Robinson (Wake Forest or Purdue)? but i think Robinson was a little young for the timing....

If you've been holding off on returning to the Dome or taking your children to a Sixers game, or you're an ABLer who's drifted away, this is the game to see. You know you've been missing the action...

Sixers CEO Mike Daws said last night that there are 1000 tickets left with a day and a bit before the team's blockbuster match-up with the Sydney Kings. Given the decent walk-up sales of past games, he's suggesting that people book their tickets ASAP (try Venue*Tix) to ensure a seat.

The best crowd so far this year was for the game against the Tigers in November, and sales for this Kings game have reportedly already surpassed that count.

Communications Coordinator Paul Bauer recommends that those hoping to buy tickets on the night bring cash where possible rather than relying on EFTPOS - cash sales are faster and get people through the doors more quickly to avoid them missing the tip-off. I've seen security guards out selling tickets to people to rush them in which is a great gesture, but that only works if you've got cash.

Adult tickets start at $15 and children under 14 are $10.

NBL Commissioner Rick Burton will be in town for the game, but 'So what?' ;)

A quick scout of the Venue*Tix site suggests that you can't get two seats together in Zone 2 and the best going in Zone 3 right now for a couple is row Q. I know of a fair few people who are unable to make the game due to social functions or work, so hopefully there aren't too many empty seats.

This game was tough to tip, but you have to like our home record against Goorjian's team.
