WNBA: Phoenix Mercury win Championship
On Saturday, Ryan Kersten played in the Wooden Classic against highly ranked Washington (#15US). Although he only scored 3points & dished 3 assist in 19 minutes he played solid "D" and handled the Huskies fullcourt pressure better than most of his team mates with only 1 turnover. His team made a run in the second half with him on the floor to cut a 17point lead to 2. The coach put him in to inbound the ball against fullcourt pressure (after freethrows) a few times. After watching the game, I think his North junior team had a higher basketball IQ than the Lobos.
