Hodge's response to Adelaide.
Link to a Herald-Sun story in Melbourne: http://linky.com.au/zoqev
Hodge said "the business side of it" had led to him ending his two short stints with Adelaide.
"I was one of the better players in the league," Hodge said.
"Adelaide, the team and the fans were great, but I wasn't getting paid so I can't stay in that situation.
"I love Adelaide, but Melbourne is like a smaller New York City to me. It's got the weather and happier people, so I feel I'm right at home."

Aw - but it wasn't Hodge, it was Tiger.

You've got to be honest about the coverage the Sixers got when the pay dispute went up.
Never seen so much TV time for the Club in over a decade; unfortunately it was regarding contract disputes.
Wouldn't mind the 1-2 minute stories the Sixers used to get, instead of hearing about which Adelaide Crow got hemeroids, or hearing about another playing missing out on training because it clashed with his facial booking at "Sue's Day Spa".

grr. can never get linky to work.
try this.

We need to re-activate Blakemore for the 5th. One night only special.

Sigh @ people feeding the troll.

What can I say - Enjoyed watching you play here Julius
From what I've seen at training - Burston was most impressive, with Gilchrist feeding him well.
Groves actually looked the better of the 2.

I call shenanigans.

In this case though it is not really SA vs VIC mentality, it's 36ers vs Hodge and the Tigers!
Still, it's going to be a huge sell-out game at the Dome on the 5th. Shame it will not be broadcast on Fox Sports.
Return game in Melbourne on 27th January will be on Fox Sports. And with the Australia Day long weekend, those at the Eltham-Dandy tournament (finishes on 24th) could stick around for a couple of days longer to watch the big game!

IF the post over there is accurate, then Adelaide's (or even other parts of the country's) dislike for his attitude is completely justified.
What a douche bag, but as far as I'm concerned he's dead to me and after he plays us he's just another player out there on the court.
In the meantime, somebody give him a grow the f up pill.
