SYDNEY player Ian Crosswhite and Hunter rival Geordie Cullen have been fined for their stoush in the National Basketball League (NBL) match in Newcastle, New South Wales, on Sunday night.

The NBL tribunal found both players guilty of fighting, with Cullen copping a $1250 fine and Crosswhite docked $1000.

The verdict was delivered today after the charges were heard by tribunal chairman Ken Madsen by telephone yesterday.

The Kings won 134-96, but the match was marred by the brawl in the final stages

Cullen and Crosswhite were ejected from the game after the incident.
