Tigers Fined by NBL

A lovely photo of Seamus accompanies the article...

The Tigers are like children throwing their toys out of the cot, grow up and let the scoreboard do the talking 4 u

Photo was not published online...just in the hard copy paper.
Their behaviour at the game was deplorable.

Has McPeake even paid the $10k fine from the finals last year?
I'm glad they got fined again regardless of how much pocket change it is for them, they deserve to be made an example of and be singled out publicly for their repeated boorish behaviour.
Hopefully it will next affect their sponsorships and attendance- maybe then the Tigers organisation will get the message.

If they don't pay the fine, penalise them points on the NBL table (although they are bottom, so can't go much lower) and do so again next season if the fine is still not paid (with interest).
At the end of the day, the Tigers signed up to this league, they have to play by league rules. The NBL have already shown that they were prepared to stare down the tigers at the beginning of the season, so my bet is that the NBL will win out on this one.

Um, how do you know that they won't enforce the fine or that they will never receive the penalties?

I was hoping the NBL would take some actiopn on this...the photo in the Herald-Sun paper on Sunday showed McPeake giving the bird. Not a good image at all!

Fans are a different story than interactions between refs and other match officials. If any fan who has been heckling a player chucks a sad because a player told him to f*** off then he is a vagina. He got away with it because it's a non issue.
