Mav's seeking a replay

If only it were possible. Replay the Game 3 Semi from 2000 vs. Wollongong and reverse the Mee foul.

Thus opening the Sixers to their 3rd straight title and probably a dynasty of titles for the next 2 years following.

We'd have a Chicago Bulls fiasco on our hands people. Brooks and Mee could've finished their careers here with the Sixers.

There is a precedent, the most recent being a score table error around this time last year involving a game between Miami and Atlanta. A foul was incorrectly given to Shaq when it should have been given to Haslam. Shaq fouled out as a result.

On that occasion the Commish also hit Atlanta with a $50,000 fine.

This situation is a little different but good luck to Cuban

Nothing yet on the WNBL site that I can see, but The Advertiser has announced SA's Abby Bishop as WNBL Rookie of the Year.

"Oh my God," Bishop said when she learnt of her rookie win. "I'm absolutely ecstatic."

Adelaide will be too as Bishop's goal is to return here to play after her AIS scholarship concludes.

Completing Year 12 Lake Ginninderra College in Canberra, she has another season to play at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra before returning.

And how long she stays may be debatable as Europe and ultimately the WNBA also beckon for this burgeoning talent.

Past SA winners of the award have been Laura Summerton and Michelle Brogan.
