36ers @ Hawks on N.Y.Eve
EC the bottom line is
Sixers 9-10, whoever you put out there.
Breakers 9-10, Penney missing 9 games, etc, etc
Teams have got to find a way to get the job done.
The question we both need to concentrate on is, "can our teams win 6 of next 9", regardless of who we put on court. It's a tough ask.

It seems Cooper and Groves off the bench did well.
u23 garlepp - nothing.
Hard to asses Hills game, but we would have won with Holmes-Herbert, obviously.

Please don't forget that only 9 players travelled but only 7 played. We came within 5 points against a team with a better record than us this season, in their own home and so undermanned. A crowd of 4k plus was also pretty helpful to the home team. Under those conditions, the addition of a fit Holmes and Herbert was almost certainly another win, just like the previous meeting on the same court. Bill, all this against a team that you have named as a legitimate contender for the title.

EC its not that close.
Only Perth(if they get sorted),Blaze (talent + D), Crocs (talent + Williams) and Hawks (teamwork + fit McKee)are legitimate shots at winning championship.
Everyone else is playing the upset card, inconsistent and not good enough.
Tigers woeful.
Cairns overachievers, fantastic effort.
Breakers and Sixers not up to it!!! Will only make 4 if McKee does not recover or Perth implode.

To lose by 5 when McKee played and Holmes and Herbert did not is commendable. It puts the 36ers in perspective in relation to where they would be at if all players are healthy. This is 2 in row where the absence of these 2 players were felt. Let's hope this is the end of the injury problems for the 36ers because they are just as good as any other team in the league at this present time. If I had to choose at this stage which team would win the championship, I would be going eeny, meeny, miny mo across all 8 teams (maybe 7). Its still close and still anyones game.

Looks like Hawks led all game but we had a big chance to pinch it in the end.

Oh no McKee is playing and Saville has come to play. Could be a tough night if they don't cool off in 2nd half.
Stick with and hope the tide turns!

NBL game preview had McKee out for the next 2 games, but Boti again was confident he would play, and he started the game well.

is this game not on rivustv??

I have very grave doubts about this one.
We will be lining up with a starting 5 of Gilchrist, Ng, Hill, Balls and Burston, with only Groves and Coops as regular rotation players (if you can call Coops that) off the bench.
I think we lose with that line-up, particularly with the Hawks being in ok form, in a must win situation, and looking to get revenge from the drubbing we gave them there last time.

Just watching 10 News. Apparently Sam Woosnam is a 36ers Defender.

McKee out? This is Sixers chance to pinch another in Wollongong. Same position as Breakers. You have to win 6 out of last 10 to make playoffs. Winning 5 could get you there but depends on other results and maybe a countback. Ballinger can hit on whoever marks him and you have an edge with Burston as well. Hawks were really sloppy defensively against Tigers so you could capitalise there. Played a lot of zone which let Tigers shooters get going. Ng and Gilchrist could have big nights.

Maybe something important - maybe not.
Adelaide Advertiser has Hawks 'back to full strength'
Illawara Mercury has Mckee 'doubtfull for the next 2 games.' I'd guess this time of year our information is limited and underfed.
