Wright not impressed with Bradshaw's performance

Did I read above that the coach imposed an alcohol ban on the players yet they still went out? Does that go unpunished?

Agreed Bill/Mystro,

when he was signed I saw him as the final piece to the puzzle, an agressive big man who could rebound and throw his weight around and intimidate the opposition, add to that he could score if we needed him too.

So far he has dissappointed and to come out in the media last week about ongong injury concerns is a cop out. Just get on with it, do the litle things and play hard and everything else will start to fall into place.

As for the other BS in this thread it all seems a lot of he said she said. Haha, if your friend feels so sleighted by this so called online abuse then Im sure she would do something about it. You coming on here and calling out players by name, while keeping other parts of the story to yourself just looks like you are big noting yourself and trying to score points. Whether something unsavoury has or hasnt occured this really isnt the place to discuss it at all. and TC2 - stop being a shitstirrer, you know you love being a smart arse and getting a rise out of people but sometimes youd gain more credibility in leaving it alone...

I agree with Bill, he was supposed to be the goods and hasn't panned out that way. Pretty 1 dimensional in the fact he has next to no post game and is only really a threat facing the basket and his D is fairly average to ok-ish at the best of times. Shame really as he's quite athletic but Vukona leaves him for dead.

Not just Joey Wright, there are plenty of Tall Black supporters even more concerned about his basketball future.
Craig was seen as the heir apparent to Pero a couple of years ago but in that time he has been unavailable and with overseas contracts, we haven't had a chance to check out his game.
Can't comment on his social life but his on court performance deserves some mention.
It's absolute crap at the moment.
A 6'10" gazelle like Craig should be dominating. Instead his nett impact is barely that of a 9/10 bench player. How much are they paying him?

HAHA you still really haven't told us what is actually going on. Just throwing out some wild accusations against players with no real insight into what they have actually done. Groupies will be groupies and they will hang all over players and create wild stories just to suit themselves.

Who knows what this situation is. Why don't you actually give some in depth details as to what has happened and why you think most of the Blaze players are a bad influence?? Thats a pretty big statement right there for a group of players that has such a good reputation and is held in high regard in the community.

And for those that can read, the post also makes reference to Wright not being impressed about finding out through the media that Bradshaw has been carrying an injury and his performance, so to focus solely on the side issue of Bradshaw's flaws as a person suggests you're only focussed on the 'gossip'.

The only shame is a decent person's reputation being tarnished.
If you choose to believe this sort of stuff doesn't go on, that's your choice.

There are two sides to every story. Posting gossipy stories about players who don't have the right of reply is pretty weak in my opinion.

Lol just don't love the goss at her expense though- I guarantee you'd get some very different versions such as she's a stalker, she claimed to be dating Bradshaw and all sorts of other muck they make up because some of these guys have no life, enjoy flattering themselves, have done this sort of thing particularly to women, in the past and their egos don't allow them to admit the truth- much less easily sort their differences directly with the person involved.

I'd like to say not to approach them on it but I know for some who read these posts the temptation will be too great :/

They've been friends online for nearly 2 years, he practically lives in her backyard now after playing around the world and he hasn't even met her during the small window of opportunity he'll be here for because he's easily influenced by idiots who don't have a clue.

She's had involvement with reform and Bradshaw knows it- nice way to say thanks for all that you do to support me, isn't it?

Anyway that aside, it will be interesting to see what Wright's next move is from here.

Actually both Demos and Bradshaw were out together until 3am closing time at a bar after the Sixers game, they were on an alcohol ban and both performed poorly against the Gong.
Sam sort of thing with the Sunshine Swing- only interested in partying.

Yes Gibson is at least playing well but definately a bad influence (and others at the Blaze who I won't mention because you wouldn't believe me) on getting in the way of one of Craig's friendships because Gibson doesn't even know this person but had blown him off once in Brisbane when he hit on her after a game and she told him to get lost because she never gets involved with players.

The story between them has since taken a life of it's own but Craig's friendship with her is nobody else's business- it's 100% above board.
He should also be smart enough to notice that nearly all players who can't close end up hating the girl- it's really stupid behaviour and a side of athletes I can't stand.

As for Demos, he's never even met said person to be blown off by her too, but they exchanged some nasty words online last week when he was busted making up some stupid lies about her then denied it.
Ubaka did the same, but Bradshaw was stupid enough to believe them over somebody he can trust who has always encouraged him to do the right thing so it made me see red.

They think it's funny and bond over it but I tell you what, I'd seriously $#^*ing hate to be a woman around this game- they always have to cop a lot of unecessary shit before they get taken as the real deal.

KJ we were hoping the same thing! :( but he's had very little to do with those guys with maturity since he got here.

He needs to take a leaf out of Maxey's book and socialise with teammates in small doses while concentrating on getting the job done.
Some of the guys like Demos and Gibbo that he's hanging around (who don't know, yet don't like friends of Craig's who are trying to look out for him) are a big influence on his thinking right now.
He's discarding the wrong people and getting his fill from people who won't give much of a stuff about him post March.

But what's interesting now is the oncourt performance also being sub par which was the reason behind the post.
