who do the heat go after now ?
With either Fisher or White Chocolate @ point guard the Heat will be contenders. As already mentioned, what teams are deep enough defensively to shutdown all 3 of these guys? I lean more to signing JWill as he has played with Wade before and is a pass first PG with solid handles, sure Rondo made him look average but Rondo was playing out of his skin

D Fish on the horizon. the heat offered 4.5 mil for next year. the lakers only offered 2.5 mil

Mind you he could play sf for that heat team .

I'm thinking brad miller or shaq at the centre . Mike miller they saying done deal almost . And fisher meeting with heat tomorrow .
Dj nice job .

2nd 5 for the heat, all playing summer league :
PG - Patty Mills
SG - Joe Ingles
SF - AJ Ogilvy
PF - Nathan Jawai
C - Luke Schencher
All sign for minimum contract, have a set where there is 2 low posts and a high post in the case that the 3 bigs are on the court together! Too easy, but I wish.
Now on a serious note, I think Brad Miller will be a good chance to sign because him and LeBron are tight.. he would be alright for the team?

I don't like this heat team one bit.
3 stars, yeah sure, but only one ball.
Good defensive teams will swamp any star who has the ball because they don't have the shooters on the court.
I'ts fine to say, we'll add mike miller or J-will etc, but where will miller play? LBJ and Wade play his spot, so really, he has 16 minutes per game tops to play...
And what will the likes of Rose, Rondo etc do to old white chocolates D????
Not paint defence to speak of, and nothing on the horizon....
Maybe Rasheed????!!!!!

Mike Miller is rumoured to be about to sign on with Miami, and Williams is being targeted for the PG.

When accessing www.central.basketball.net.au I noticed Col Thompson's reviews and previews bit has not been updated since April.
The guys at BASA do a wonderful job and most of them are contributing purely for the love of the sport, but wouldn't it be reasonable to expect this section to be updated more regularly. The same thing happened last season, about halfway through the match previews and reviews just ended.
I don't want to can them too much, but if you're running a website (and Isaac would attest to this), one of the basic fundamentals is that if you don't update it regularly, it loses all cred. Either they should get Col or someone else to at least put something in the section, even a once a week update with the reviews and previews in the same section, or dispense with it altogether.
