Wortho to Gold Coast?

Gold Coast is making some serious moves to becoming the sporting capital of Australia - Worthington, Basketball, Ablett, Football! Nothing but the best must be their objective.

So Isaac, you didn't appreciate Jo Jo's effort all those years ago? ;)

Agreed Isaac, but no point being nasty ;)

I'd way rather Sean Marks than Worthington at the Breakers but that means squat if Marks and Penney both sign NBA gigs

Bennett Davison to get the chop due to niggling injuries according to todays local paper

this is going to be a tight season.

Worthington makes any team with a half decent roster a contender.

damm i guessed it would be one of their imports and wortho plays the pf/sf spot which is more like Davison than Maye, who sounds like a more ball handling all round small forward.
Pity as i was hoping to see Davison play and see if he was as good and as exciting as he was 10 years ago with the Tigers.
But picking up Wortho makes a lot of sense and if a injury occurs gives them flexibilty to grab a import.

I have noticed over the last few years at how untidy some players look on court through failure to shave. I know it has nothing to do with their performance but being in the public eye, looks quite sloppy. I was reminded of this when watching the Brisbane/Melbourne game this morning on Fox. Sam Mackinnon looked like he hadn't shaved for 2 days. It was not a good look for television and showed a lack of pride in his appearance. He is not the only one, there are so many that just don't take their grooming seriously. A well maintained beard can look quite good, but this is not the beginning of a beard, its just a lack of grooming. What do people think of this? Is it something that does not matter or should players make more of an effort in their presentation?
