I believe the decision not to have PL is the correct decision. After all Clubs and players were advised that the NBL1 season (PL) was CANCELLED and recommended imports be sent home which most imports any competition was going to be significantly compromised.
Only a few clubs or individuals would want to win
Any of those awards in those circumstances
On balance the majority wanted a competition which allowed older players to have a game each week. The Reserves was the obvious answer though the person above has it wrong in at least one area - the decision to make it 12 weeks was BSAs
