Its never easy to get 22 assists in an NBA game. Rondo makes it look easy because he sees everything, manipulates the D to get the look he wants and hits his guy in the right spot at the right moment nearly every time. The guy is just a freak and great fun to watch. His play is also gonna allow Ray Allen and perhaps KG to play a couple of years longer than they otherwise would have, because he creates nearly all their shots for them and saves their legs.
BTW, the reason Ginobili had a chance to tie was because the refs failed to call a foul when he bearhugged Pierce (trying to send him to the line) after the inbounds 30 secs earlier and no call was made, allowing Parker to steal the ball. Pierce should have been shooting FTs!
