Powell was a beast offensively, don't think he ever sussed how to pass tho

Powell had a nice line in the D-League for the couple of years he was playing there. Think he's moved on to Europe again.

I was at the State Netball Centre,Melbourne tonight.

Melbourne 113(Tucker 24, Anstey 24, Hoare 17) def Singapore 102 (Helms 24, Trahair 18, Chandler 17)

Melbourne Tigers won the game but probably should have won the game by 30+ but give credit to the Slingers they never stopped trying. I think in the end Singapore would have got more out of the game than the Tigers. Not a full house there tonight. Rashad Tucker was the MVP. Mike Helms the best for the Slingers.

It was great to see Darryl and Derrick McDonald on court together towards the end.

Slingers now go back to Singapore to play the South Dragons on Wednesday while the Tigers play at home again next Saturday against Adelaide.
