Hoops FNBL Round 21 - Final round before playoffs
Perth v Cairns results are in.
Bear in mind, these scores are unoffical until tomorrow morning.
The results are..
Bizzy 216 lost to skip 318
TR 165 lost to Beantown 352
DB5 154 defeated Xztatik 96
Lockie 207 lost to Statman 242
These results would mean the ladder would be in this order.
1 Statman 128.6% 34
2 skip 114.4% 26
3 Xztatik 113.9% 26
4 Bizzy 96.5% 20
5 Lockie 96.6% 18
6 DB5 89.2% 18
7 Beantown 87.1% 14
8 TR 78.1% 12
Lockie finished 0.1% above Bizzy but didnt get the all important win.
I slipped above X on the table (not that it make a difference to next week)
The bottom four will still playoff next week to see where they finish on the final table.
This will not affect the draft order for next season however. A lottery will be done for the bottom four to determine their draft order. The top fours draft order will be done in the reverse order they finish.

With just the Perth v Cairns game to finish, Statman looks like he may have helped Bizzy to his finals spots (off the back of a huge game by Khazzouh)
Current scores...
Bizzy 193 v skip 274
TR 164 v Beantown 246
DB5 124 v Xztatik 42
Lockie 167 v Statman 202

Scores after Saturday's game..
Bizzy 173 v skip 228
TR 125 v Beantown 194
DB5 60 v Xztatik 23
Lockie 167 v Statman 115
If the round ended now, Lockie would be 4th. His percentage is currently ahead of Bizzy.
Just noticed though that Lockie has Clark in his starters, who isnt playing this week, could be a very costly choice.
This is going down to the wire.

Scores after Fridays game...
Bizzy 128 v skip 162
TR 57 v Beantown 160
DB5 40 v Xztatik 24
Lockie 39 v Statman 115

Scores after the first game are..
Bizzy 80 v skip 66
TR 50 v Beantown 32
DB5 24 v Xztatik 14
Lockie 14 v Statman 53
Bizzy didnt post his team this week meaning he is possibly missing out on crucial scores from burston and Wagstaff, as well as having Luke Martin (who isnt playing) in his starting line up.
The battle for 4th place is going to be close I reckon.

Statman - I'm afriad Phil Jones is not a Forward. This means the your forward from last week must slot back into his place meaning Garlepp is now in your starting 5 and Jones is DNP.

Thats wierd Skip, I missed that tweet my @chomicide, must have got lost amongst his 4.2 million retweets this week!
The Hackers wont be resting anyone either, dont want to flirt with form, here we go for this week -
The Hackers squad for this weekend
C Julian Kazzouh
F Phil Jones
F Mika Vukona
G Ayinde Ubaka (captain)
G Kevin Lisch
Bench
C Alex Pledger
F Tom Greer
F Jacob Holmes
Left Out
G Tom Garlepp
G Rhy Martin

The Chelsea Daggers were considering resting a few players this week to make sure they are fit for next weeks Semi Final battle against the reigning champions, but the players demanded to continue on without rest.
Homicide recently tweeted 'That Coach Bizzy better pray that Coach Lockie's team loses because we are gonna give them a basketball lesson this week'
Here is the Chelsea Daggers line up this week.
STARTING FIVE
F DORSEY, Ron (c)
F SAVILLE, Glen
C SCHENSCHER, Luke
G WILLIAMS, Corey
G PENNEY, Kirk
BENCH
G CRAWFORD, Peter
F TRAGARDH, Cameron
C JOHNSON, Daniel
DNP
F CREEK, Mitch
G ROBBINS, Brad

Well, TR, looks like its you and me for the Rumble in the Basement!
I'm gonna go with:
Crosswhite (c)
Hinder
Loughton
Madgen
Martin
Gilder
Boucher
Cadee
Neville
Howard

I think Bizzy will have 4th spot wrapped up. Can't see how I am going to beat Statman this week!
Anyway, my team for this week is:
C: Davidson
F: Clark
F: Rychart
G: Ervin (captain)
G: Cedar
B: Weigh
B: Carter
B: Tait
DNP: Williamson
DNP: Majok

Scores are official.
The ladder now looks like this..
1 Statman 129.2% 32
2 Xztatik 116.2% 26
3 skip 112.8% 24
4 Bizzy 98.4% 20
5 Lockie 96.7% 18
6 DB5 87.6% 16
7 Beantown 82.8% 12
8 TR 80.6% 12
For Lockie to make the final four, he will need to win and need Bizzy to lose AND he will also need their combined margin to at least 100 points. (ie Lockie wins by 60 and Bizzy loses by 40)

It has just been reported that Red has passed away at the age of 89, sources can be found at espn, realgm, celtics blog etc. Red was a legend and his achievements include coaching the Celtics to an NBA record 8 straight NBA championships 1959-66. He will be missed by all basketball fans alike.
