Gary Ervin named NBL MVP

Last time I checked, MVP went to the player that had the most impact on their team.

Despite Penney's obvious skill, he is just a pure scorer. With the amount of talent on the team and the sheer scoring power they have, I don't think the team would have faltered much had he made the NBA.

As already stated, when half your team can produce good numbers and produce impacts both offensively and defensively, it's obvious why he didn't get so many votes.

Think the voting went the right way. If Penney wants an MVP on a team the caliber that the Breakers are at; he needs to become the 25-30ppg man he's capable of be the main man again.

Fizzle the Breakers PURCHASED their team?
Funny that Henare has always been there, Abercrombie, Webster, Pledger were development players, Vukona and Boucher previously played for the club, Penney is a Kiwi and was never gonna play for anyone else in this league. So they bought CJ and 2 Imports. This stuff gets real old, they have been adding "local" pieces to this team for the past few years and have chopped and changed Imports like every other team in the league. When the Breakers develop a player they then give him a chance to contribute to the team instead of letting another team sign them and reap the benefits.
