The game is about to start.

Erik Burdon is on the list and looks to have received a NZ holiday in the absence of Brad Hill and Darren Ng. For those 36ers fans who've never seen him play, (note, this is not him) Burdon is a bit like Ng but not quite as good and with a more contemporary view on hair styling. Bit scrawny and undersized for the NBL, but you'd be an idiot to leave him alone on the three point line. Can't see him getting time this season, but in September a few of us might've said the same of Matt Sutton.

Live scores are on the NBL site, and should be starting shortly, unless I've completely misjudged the timezone calculations.

For those who haven't been following the news, Horvath has a bruised foot due to his completely forgetting to tell the team about his orthotics being on their last legs. Yesterday I heard he was 50-50 to play, but he might have improved since then.

Starters for Adelaide look to be Maher, Farley, Majstrovich, Horvath, Cooper. For NZ, Henare, Wethers, Forman, Powell, Pepper.
