By tonight's TV news , Adelaide T-birds (netball) was announcing , that US College Basketballer
Carla Borrego , had been signed for another 3 years.
Meanwhile , Gretel Tippet's brother plays for Adelaide Crows.
Then , maybe Vince Marino could talk to them.
Still, tickets would be selling like gold dust, if they played for Lightning and how much press that would get, you'd want Adelaide Arena.

All over the Canberra media tonight about how the Cap's have lost her to a "lucrative" lightning deal - now THATS unfair, for Marino to pick on an underfunded, financially stretched community-based organisation like Canberra. - looks like Cap's will need to get the local government to find another lazy $200K and get LJ back into the team , just so that they can avoid the bottom of the WNBL ladder.
