Cairns Taipans.
Community owned, not over shadowed with big egos and money thrown around like it's never ending.
A very inspirational team backed up by great coaching staff.
I'm not even from Cairns but I’d say it's worth travelling there for a game night. It’s certainly an experience and a half. Also loving their mascot! Never seen a mascot with such good entertainment.
also for a community owned team they've got one hell of a stadium!

I don't know. I'm not a reporter. I'm not a newsman.
I'm not even a philosopher, so I have no idea.
After I finish writing something like that, to make myself feel good, I put on a tie, and then feel much better about it - and write about all kinds of things
rats..balloons.....

One time ago , we won our first championship and sacked the coach , so I didn't follow 'em for a little while.
Apparently recovered my shock, It's funny how I now live on the 36ers crossing n walk to sixers training for a little while.
Only 3 games starting at Centre, and Johnson upstaged everyone, in a little bit of excitment for this season, here.
Enjoyed watching Ira Clark n Ron Dorsey on TV , this season. most of all, I think.

I no longer follow any NBL since the demise of the North Melbourne Giants days...I just couldn't bring myself to follow the Victoria Titans, but the South Dragons nearly pulled me in before they fell over too...
There is and has never been any chance of following the Melbourne Tigers.
I can't wait for the new Melbourne team to be based out in the new venue at Scoresby, I think I will jump on board as it will only take me 5-10 minutes to get there too!
