NBA Finals - Game 2: Mavericks @ Heat

Funny Mo,

Interestingly both Miami and Dallas teams each have only two players on their rosters who have remained with their teams since playing in the 2006 finals (and neither team has the same coach)

Wade was awesome in this game and I reckon he thrived in the fact that he does not get all the defensive attention these days as he shares the same team as James.

But this time Miami did not make as many big shots as Dallas.

Years ago

Agree about Shawn Marion. Gave them some offense today and is a consistenly good defender.

Years ago

Dirk is getting a lot of props, but I think Marion deserves a mention too, he has been big in this series. Especially today when Dallas (Dirk & Jet) were struggling, he was keeping them in touch.

Love to see the series go 7 games if they are all similar to this!

Years ago

That might be the difference between having a 'go to guy' and having 'go to guys', everyone on the team knows the guy they must get the ball to at clutch time.

Miami only scored 3 points to Dallas' 16 in the last 4 minutes of the game (Dirk scored Dallas' last nine points)!

Let's be honest; regardless of who you support, as a bball fan you really want close games like that.

Great to see it came to another series of Clutch plays.

Amazing game, even as a Heat fan, that was brilliant! Could be a great series after all.

Nowitzki for the layin with 3.6sec to go! Wade with a desparation triple as time expires misses...Dallas win 95-93!!! Wow - what a come-back!

Chalmers! Wow - a big three in response after the timeout to tie it up again at 93-all with 24.5sec to go. Dallas timeout.

Wade has 36 points, James 20.
Nowitzki 22 points, Marion 20.

Wow...Miami was seemingly cruising to a win and then the Dallas scoring amchine fires up.

A Dirk triple sees Dallas steal the lead 93-90 with 26.7seconds to go. Timeout.

Miami's D is dominating this game.

Wade having troubles at the free throw line (4/8), but he has been unstoppable so far with 27 points (11/15) and 6 assists.

Miami up 71-63 with just over 2min left in the 3rd.

James and Wade start off the 3rd quarter strongly, Miami up 57-52.

Haha, no foul on Wade there? If Dallas fans cry again about preferential treatment, I will refer to that break.

Dwyane Wade stepping it up in the 2nd to keep Miami in touch. Wade has 16 points on 8/10 shooting to lead all scorers.

Dalla's bench easily outscoring Heat bench at this stage.

Dallas lead 26-25 late in 1st quarter.

Melbourne held the Kings to just 68 points. I think that's the lowest score by any team this season.

Only 1 player in double figures for the Kings (Elliot had 11)

Kendall and Jason Smith had 6 points between them

Some of these must be all time lows?
