When can your child start playing basketball?
My boy was 2 days old when he went to his first sixers game, had a basketball in his hand the next day, he is now 19 months old and all he says is Bachi ball (basketball) i already have a hoop set up for him, just in reaching height and he loves to dunk it, so yeah I'm training him already hahahaha

Anyway, back on track.
I signed up my 3yo daughter for the Get Active Sports thing that the original poster mentioned. It was good because it's just at local schools around the place. Goes for 6 weeks at a time.
And nothing is funnier than the trainer trying to teach a bunch of 3yos how to dribble a ball. Child drops ball to ground, ball hits feet, ball rolls away, child laughs and chases ball ... the end result is balls and kids going in every direction.

You must have been "shafted" by Tigers, but it's good to see that all clubs are percieved to have problems

LOL,
We would hate to see a young player living closer to one club felt the urge to travel a long distance to another just because they didn't know about that other club. After all, we are all trying to limit our carbon footprint.

Hang on there MB, Sturt isn't the only lolly shop in the street ....
Ritz, what suburb do you live in?
Check out the Basketball SA website and find your nearest club. There are plenty of Aussie Hoops clinics around this great state.
