Push to introduce a second melbourne team

The push is getting stronger...2012/13 is looking like it may happen! The team apparently wants to build around David Barlow and focus on signing young talent.

"Camouflage officials have met with Basketball Australia chief executive Larry Sengstock and are confident they will play in the 2012-2013 NBL season."

A second Melbourne team is long overdue.

Interesting to note that in the article on The Age website, it states there are in fact two consortiums interested in getting a team up and running, with the Camouflage branded bid the more advanced option.
