Club assessment tool
Thanks Wise Owl,
If you can't measure it, you can't improve it. I haven't done it as part of a direction from my club, just something off my own bat as I am a systems type of guy and can see where this could be handy. I have taken the approach of a self assessment tool pretty much like a management tool designed for say a junior panel to use and assess where they are at the moment, and then of course where they want to be. For each box, I have got comments as far as what one would expect to see if the club was at that level. It's pretty much first draft at the moment.
Thanks so far to everyone who has emailed me.

"A tool for parents to get an outcome that will see their kid play where they want them to."
I think you mis-understand the intent of this. I am seeking an assessment tool for use at club management level, it is not designed or intended for use by parents.

They only play Division III, but Caltech snapped a 207-game NCAA losing streak today: details here.
Titbits about Caltech and their win, their first since 1996:
- They thrashed a team called Bard College 81-52 for the win. Bard College? I smell Cupcake City, in the words of Dick Vitale.
- Their coach is a dude with the great name Roy Dow.
- It has 850 students, and 31 Nobel Prize winners have either taught or studied there (including Albert Einstein, who was a lecturer). It gives out no athletic scholarships.
- If you include non-NCAA teams, its losing streak was "only" 60. One's mind boggles at what might constitute a "non-NCAA" team - anyone have any guesses?
